Social Events
Please make your reservation for social events during the registration process for the conference. There is a limited availability for all social events and participation will be granted by the motto “first come, first serve”.
There are no additional fees for social events as they are included in the conference fee. Choose the social events which you would like to attend in the registration form while registering. Please state there if you prefer vegetarian food.
Sunday, September 28
- Visit of the Green Vault in the late afternoon

| 16.00 | visit of the Green Vault in two groups |
| 18.00 | option 1: possibility to attend service at the Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche) |
| 18.00 | option 2: possibility to have dinner in one of the numerous restaurants in front of the Church of Our Lady |
| 19.30 | possibility to visit the Church of Our Lady |
Monday, September 29
- Walking tour through Dresden
- Reception in a local pub (Planwirtschaft), dinner included
| 17.00 | meeting at main entrance of the faculty building and guided tour through the old parts of the town |
| 19.00 | reception and dinner at the local pub “Planwirtschaft” |
Tuesday, September 30
- Steamboat tour to Pillnitz, followed by a guided tour through Pillnitz Castle
- Dinner at Schloss Eckberg
| 13.00 | meeting at main entrance of the faculty building |
| 14.00 | departure by paddle-steamer at the Dresden Terrassenufer |
| 15.30 | arrival in Pillnitz, followed by a guided tour through the garden and Pillnitz Castle |
| 17.45 | departure by paddle-steamer to 'Blaues Wunder' and walking to Castle Eckberg |
| 19.00 | reception |
| 20.00 | dinner at the castle |
As we are going to have dinner in an exclusive restaurant, we recommend to wear smart casual attire.
